Special Delivery
Special Delivery is a TIFF programme that reaches out to youth in under-served local communities who may not otherwise have access to the film festival experience. Special Delivery brings film screenings, director discussions and film-craft workshops to schools and community groups free of charge. Over the past seven years, Special Delivery has reached almost 10,000 children and youth across the Greater Toronto Area.
Filmmakers and workshop facilitators invited to participate in Special Delivery reflect the diversity of the GTA, and all have a passion to engage youth with their stories, skills and wisdom. Through hands-on film experiences and interactions with industry professionals, Special Delivery aims to give all youth the opportunity to discover the powerful world of the moving image.
